Dress Rehearsal Reception

The Dress Rehearsal Reception is a unique event designed to thank Syracuse Opera's larger individual,
corporate, foundation and government donors, and to give new prospects an opportunity to learn about
Syracuse Opera. The Dress Rehearsal Reception is aptly titled "An Insider's Look At The Opera" and, in an intimate setting, offers attendees an opportunity to mingle with friends and colleagues while enjoying an evening dedicated to depicting what Syracuse Opera is all about. The reception takes place in the lobby of the Theater, the evening of the final dress rehearsal for our opening production. The evening concludes with the rehearsal, which is open for guests to attend either for a short time or for the entire opera.

Dress Rehearsal Reception's Honorary Chairs in past years included Nicolette Clarke (New York State Council on the Arts), Stephen A. Rogers (Syracuse Newspapers), Sieglinde Wikstrom (Syracuse Opera Board Member), David Rubin (Syracuse Opera Board Member), Michael Connor (Syracuse Newspapers), Eileen Kelliher (Niagara Mohawk) and Marjorie Julian (Syracuse Opera Board Member). Each Chair was honored by Syracuse Opera Board and staff members and took a moment to explain why they support Syracuse Opera.
