Annual Fundraiser to benefit Syracuse Opera

ALAN BYER VOLVO POLO FOR OPERA is Syracuse Opera's major fundraising event and is a special event that is unique in the opera world. It is a fun-filled weekend of socializing and sport nestled in the beautiful surroundings of picturesque Skaneateles, NY located about 20 minutes outside of Syracuse.

The weekend begins with a Summer Soirée, an elegant evening including dinner, dancing, live auction and fireworks all overlooking beautiful Skaneateles Lake, one of New York’s famous finger lakes. The main event takes place on a Sunday afternoon at the Skaneateles Polo field as the Skaneateles Polo Team plays host to the benefit Polo Match. Spectators enjoy refreshments at Fieldside Umbrella Tables, and there are activities for the entire family, including pony rides, face painting, caricatures, and a fabulous Silent Auction. This year’s event takes place on Friday, July 25th and Sunday, July 27th.
