  Syracuse Opera's Annual Concert to Feature Music of the 20’s spanning the last 300 years!
  Syracuse Opera will present its annual concert featuring members of the Syracuse Opera Chorus at the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Syracuse on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 7:30 pm.  The Society is located at 109 Waring Road, at the corner of Waring and Nottingham roads.  The concert is open to the public and a donation of $10 per adult is suggested benefiting the church.   Syracuse Opera is announcing a new date for The Merry Widow preview at Syracuse University. The new date for the preview is Thursday, April 5th at 12:30pm and it will take place at Crouse College’s Setnor Auditorium on the Syracuse University Campus as part of its partnership with Syracuse University’s Pulse. Syracuse Opera is also partnered with Barnes & Noble and will present a preview of The Merry Widow at the Erie Blvd. location on Thursday April 12th at 7:00pm. MORE

announce Syracuse Opera’s 2007-08 Season
  Artistic Director Richard McKee and General Director Catherine Wolff announced today Syracuse Opera’s 2007-08 season: a new production of Verdi’s Rigoletto, Donizetti’s Don Pasquale and a double bill of Menotti’s The Medium and Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci. All productions will feature the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra and the Syracuse Opera Chorus. MORE

Syracuse Opera will be limiting sales to 500 tickets at a cost of $100 each. You need not be present to win, and proceeds from the raffle will benefit Syracuse Opera.   (SYRACUSE, NY) Artistic Director Richard McKee and General Director Catherine Wolff announced today Syracuse Opera’s 2006-07 season:  Bizet’s Carmen, Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoorand Lehár’s The Merry Widow.  All three productions will feature the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra and the Syracuse Opera Chorus.  Performances will take place in October, March and April in the Crouse-Hinds Concert Theater of the John H.
